I had already laid bare my heart − Whispers Within – Part 2

When the wind dozes in the embrace of the tree,
and the birds fall asleep side by side,
silence begins its lonely,
melancholic song.

Sleep, sleep, oh beloved wind,
rest, oh gentle birds,
I had already laid bare my heart
for the arrival of mournful songs.

When the wave settles in the embrace of the shore,
and the stars remain eternally silent,
a person understands his lonely,
solitary journey.

Sleep, sleep, oh beloved wave,
rest, oh gentle stars,
I had already laid bare my heart
for the arrival of farewell songs.

Internal voice refers to a person's ability to listen to their own thoughts, feelings, and intuition.
When a person listens to themselves, they turn inward, seeking to understand their own
experience and inner world.

A well-known saying suggests that the kingdom of heaven is present within each of us.
What happens then when a person listens to themselves?
Do they turn away from the world, or do they hear the world within themselves?

Indigenous peoples have always been aware of their connection to nature,
listening to the mother earth, its winds, and the rivers flowing towards the sea.

Many of us lift our gaze upwards and close our eyes.
The forest provides solace for those in need of tranquility, as does reading, poetry, and music.
Some wish to spend a moment with themselves. For some, they must travel far to find
a place of serenity. Some find peace of mind only after making an important decision.
All of this involves pausing at the threshold of one's own mind,
examining one's own experience.

I wrote the poem 'I had already laid bare my heart' at the beginning of my post on February 24, 2024.
I myself have found solace in the rhythms of poetry, where the rich etymology of words
and sometimes surprising phonetic harmony stop me in my tracks,
making the world resonate in an entirely new way.

What is your place of peace?
What is your melody?

Thank you for reading my blog.
Thank you for your time – let's look out for each other💚
